We're a Lusaka company building credit for people whose income arrives once a month while their costs don't.
Why we built it
Plenty of people in Zambia have steady income, whether a salary or a government allowance, and still get caught out when a cost arrives before the money does. The usual options are asking family, waiting on an employer advance, or borrowing from an app that doesn't explain what it costs.
Dottra is a credit facility you set up once and use when you need it. The cost is shown in kwacha before you agree, the charge depends on how long you actually owe money, and you can pay back on any day.
How we work
- We publish our full pricing, with examples, and the app shows the exact figures before every draw.
- We don't charge late fees. An overdue statement freezes the facility until it's paid.
- We don't ask for access to your contacts, photos or messages, and we don't contact your friends or family.
- We set limits based on verified income and an affordability review, not on how much you ask for.
